About JOM

Our Mission
To fulfill our part of the Great Commission by bringing the Gospel of Grace to others through the preaching of the Word of God.  We believe this will bring others to the knowledge of God's saving grace, through bible studies and lifestyle evangelism.

  • Mark 16:20
And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the Word with signes following.  Amen.

  • Ephesians 4:3-6
Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.  There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

  • Ephesians 4:11-13
And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:  Till we come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.

It is God's Word that we Proclaim!

What We Believe
Statement of Faith

We believe....

  • That outside of Christ there is none righteous, no not one.
Romans 3:10-12
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.  There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.  They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable, there is none that doeth good, no not one.

  • All have sin.
Romans 3:23
for all have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God.

  • There is a cost for sin.
Romans 6:23
for the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 1:18
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

  • That man cannot do anything of himself to help himself.
Romans 3:20
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight; for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

Romans 3:27
Where is boasting then?  It is excluded.  By what law?  Of works?  Nay: by the law of faith.

  • The Love of God has made a way for all mankind to be saved.
Romans 5:8-9
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.  Much more then, being now justified by His Blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

  • All hope, trust and confidence must be placed in Jesus Christ for salvation.
Romans 3:22
even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference.

Romans 10:9
that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Romans 3:28
therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
